A BIM software application aimed at 3d design for railways has come onto the market in the Middle East.
Power Rail Track has been designed by Bentley with the aim of providing all the information necessary to develop rail transport infrastructure projects.
“Power Rail Track advances rail design, construction, and operations through the use of industry-leading innovations that include immersive modeling, design-time visualization, design intent capture and persistence, and hypermodeling,” said Ian Rosam, director of software development for the company..
“This release further enables owner-operators and consultants to meet BIM objectives required on rail and transit projects, enabling the sharing of information across multiple disciplines.”
