New technologies come together for solutions making hazardous work environments safer. A German University uses BIM Tools, Virtual Reality And Wearables to help avoid accidents at constructions sites.
Building information modeling (BIM) tools are used to create a virtual version of the actual building site. Workers immerse with a VR headset into the virtual construction site getting exposed to simulated dangerous situations including getting run over by trucks and or hit by crane booms.
