Washroom Washroom Embraces Use Of BIM Technology

Innovative bathroom design company Washroom Washroom has this week announced that it has made a large amount of its products available as BIM objects through the National BIM Library.

Industry experts including architects, specifiers and designers alike will now be able to readily assimilate cubicles, vanities, lockers and benching from the company’s vast range into their own BIM systems in order to create a complete and comprehensive virtual 3D building model.

Washroom Washroom has selected 12 of its most popular designs to be made available as BIM objects including Alto, Bambino, Mezzo, Forte, Luminoso and Senza.

Washroom Washroom’s Legato benching units, Forza and Octave lockers and sold surface vanities have also all been designed as BIM objects available on the platform. The company’s exquisite Concerto integrated duct panel system is now available as a layered BIM object to download in a range of different finishes including glass, real wood veneer, granite, laminate and Corian.

They will be available to download as component BIM objects which are available online to be positioned within an existing 3D model as desired. The BIM content is now live and is available for download on Washroom Washroom’s website.

By choosing to make a series of its products available as BIM objects, Washroom Washroom is joining several other companies in the sector that are making the move to support the recent mandate served by the government encouraging the implementation of BIM across UK industry businesses. More information can be found on Washroom Washroom’s website and on the National BIM Library site.
