Over the past three years the BIM Management Institute has organized several international conferences on the theme of BIM in Porto (Portugal), Lisbon (Portugal) and Madrid (Spain). This year, as requested by numerous professionals, there will be two editions, one in São Paulo (Brazil) on 29 and 30 September 2016 and the other in Lisbon (Portugal) on 13 and 14 October 2016.
The prominent role that BIM has assumed throughout the construction project cycle, is proven by the international investment that has been implemented by governments, real estate developers, designers, builders, licensors, suppliers and others. The use of BIM is already imposed in many countries, it is expected that this requirement will be extended in a near future.
The conference will bring together leading professionals and researchers in the construction industry from a wide range of countries to share experiences, developments, perspectives and trends in this area. Like in the past years it is expected the presence of the most recognized international experts as well as industry leaders to explore this matter.
The target audience of this Conference are architects, engineers, developers, builders and public entities (event will have simultaneous translation in Sao Paulo).
In addition to the presentations of 26 prestigious national and international Keynote Speakers invited by the organizers, the event will feature software workshops and presentations of more than 55 Cases and Abstracts from professionals and researchers.
